MAJOR VIOLATIONS

Tobacco Products  

Students are not permitted to use or have in their possession any tobacco, tobacco products, or tobacco paraphernalia.

First offense will result in a minimum twenty-one (21) day off campus suspension, to include all classes and school activities.

Second offense will result in expulsion.

Alcohol/ Drugs

Students are not allowed to use or to have in their possession any alcohol, drugs, drug related products, or paraphernalia.

The first offense will result in a minimum twenty-one (21) day off campus suspension, to include all classes and activities.

Any resident found guilty of alcohol or drug use, possession, or possession of paraphernalia will risk being expelled from both the Boarding Program and St. Mary's Preparatory.

Any Second Offense will result in expulsion from school without appeal.

Distribution of alcohol, drugs, or related products will result in immediate expulsion without appeal.

Weapons

No weapons of any sort are allowed on campus.

St. Mary's has a ZERO tolerance policy on weapons. Students will be expelled on the first offense without appeal.

Theft

Residents should always keep valuables locked up and their room locked at all times. Do not borrow or take anything from anyone without his or her permission. If a resident suspects that a theft has occurred, he must report it immediately to the Residence Hall Office.

Students are strongly encouraged to keep all money in the Residents Hall Office safe, where it can be secured and monitored. It is not recommended for any student to have more than $20 in his room at any given time.

St. Mary's has a ZERO tolerance policy on theft. Students will be expelled on the first offense.
