Trigonometry with Functions el. 10, 11, 12 2 sem
Trigonometry introduces students to trigonometric and circular functions, including the laws of Sine and Cosine, identities, trig graphs, inverses, and a comprehensive review of the unit circle. Pre-Calculus in the second semester prepares students for calculus; limits and derivatives are introduced.
Honors Pre-Calculus el. 10, 11, 12 2 sem
A progressive, accelerated, and more intensive version of the Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus course listed above.
Applied Math el. 11, 12 2 sem
This course is designed for students who plan to enter fields such as economics, business, education, science, and other professions that rely on statistics for their effective pursuit. Variables, probability, and binomial and normal distributions are areas of emphasis.
AP Statistics _______ el. 11, 12 2 sem.
The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the major concepts and tools for collecting,
analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. It is a one-semester, non-calculus based course
designed for students majoring in any field at the collegiate level. It will be presented in a manner that emphasizes and illustrates the statistical analysis arising from real-world applications. In this context, students will be exposed to four broad conceptual themes; exploring data, sampling and experimentation, anticipating patterns, and statistical inference. Finally, the course will attempt to strike a balance between computational based and interpretive statistics.
AP Calculus _______ el. 11, 12 2 sem.
This course is an extension of Honors Pre-Calculus rather than an enhancement. It is intended to be both challenging and demanding. The course emphasizes a multi-representational approach to
calculus, with concepts, results, and problems being expressed geometrically, numerically, analytically, and verbally. Topics include parametric, polar, and vector functions, and analysis of their curves, numerical solutions of differential equations using Euler’s Method, L’Hopital’s Rule, including its use in determining limits and convergence of improper integrals and series. In addition, methods of integration, logistic differential equations, polynomial approximations and series, and applications of integration, including arc length and finding the area of a region bounded by polar curves.

This is an introductory course in the study of living things with an emphasis on cellular structures, functions, and bodily systems. During second semester, emphasis is placed on whole organism functions and reproduction.
