    St. Mary's Prep uses the FACTS Tuition payment management program. Typical payment plans are nine months, August-April of each year.

  • $1,000 REGISTRATION DEPOSIT DUE WITH REGISTRATION.

    Other fees may include an $85 parking fee (where applicable) and a $100 pay-to-play fee (per sport).

    *In addition to the tuition and fees listed above, all students will be responsible for books, school tie and crest, and various supplies from the bookstore. Estimated cost for these items is between $300 and $500 per Academic Year.

    *Additional fees and costs may be incurred throughout the year. Families will receive a $1,000 “Family / Brothers” discount for each student enrolled after the first student.

    All families must purchase $250 worth of Polish Country Fair raffle tickets every school year. The tickets may be sold or bought by the family.

  • Scholarships

    Students are awarded academic merit scholarships based on their High School Placement Test score. In order to qualify for a merit scholarship, students must take one of the four-yearly HSPT exams: November, December, February, or March. Academic scholarships will be awarded each year of a student’s career at St. Mary’s so long as they maintain the required GPA at the end of each academic semester.
    Academic Scholarships are ONLY awarded to incoming freshmen. Transfer students are not able to qualify for an academic scholarship

    The Orchard Lake Brotherhood Scholarship

     

    The Orchard Lake Brotherhood Scholarship is awarded to young men who have proven to be inspiring young role models and have exhibited exactly what it is to be a Christian gentleman. As indicated within the recommendations and information set to accompany a student’s application, recipients have exhibited positive behavior in the classroom, in co-curricular activities, church communities, and various other organizations the applicant has been involved with. Candidates who exhibit this type of behavior per the above documentation will be recommended to the scholarship committee as potential recipients. The scholarship committee will then decide upon the recipients who have met the noted criteria. The scholarship can range from $1,000-$2,500. This scholarship will be renewed every year so long as these gentlemanly qualities that earned the applicant the award remain and are showcased while a student at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Preparatory. At the end of each year, the citizenship of the recipients will be reviewed by the Dean of Students. Notification of this award will be made after a student has been accepted to St. Mary’s Preparatory.

    The Headmaster’s Award

    Any student applying to St. Mary’s who scores an 80% or higher on the High School Placement Test and has exceptional classroom grades may qualify for this scholarship. A student may receive between $1,000 - $2,500 each year, provided he maintains a 3.3 GPA or better.

    The Chancellor’s Award

    Any student applying to St. Mary’s who scores a 90% or higher on the High School Placement Test and has exceptional classroom grades may qualify for this scholarship. A student may receive $3,000 each year, provided he maintains a 3.5 GPA or better.

    The Founder’s Award

    Any student applying to St. Mary’s who scores a 99% on the High School Placement Test and has exceptional classroom grades may qualify for this scholarship. A student may receive $4,000 each year, provided he maintains a 3.8 GPA or better.

    The Parent Educator Scholarship

    Students who have been accepted to Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Prep, and have a parent or step parent currently working as a teacher or administrator in a public or Catholic school at least 20+ hours per week will be eligible for this scholarship totaling 50% off of the current school year’s tuition. Please contact the admissions office for specific details.

    The First Responder Scholarship

    Students who have been accepted to Orchard Lake St. Mary's Prep, and have a parent or step parent currently working as a full time police officer, fire fighter, paramedic, or EMT will be eligible for this scholarship totaling 50% off of the current school year's tuition. Please contact the admissions office for specific details.

    The Joseph Burkaki Scholarship

    The Burkacki Endowed Scholarship, established in 2019, honors and preserves the important Polish heritage of the Orchard Lake Schools by providing scholarship awards to qualified students. The Fund utilizes annual distributions from the Fund, preserving the principal of the fund to aid future students and perpetually honor Mr. Burkacki. Student recipients, known as “Burkacki Scholars”, commit to appropriately promote the Polish traditions to the diverse population of The Orchard Lake Schools, and pledge their Christian service in support of the School’s overall mission. Recipient Qualifications: 1. The student is of Polish ancestry 2. Has a minimum of a 3.0 GPA (grade average will be officially calculated by St. Mary’s Prep) 3. Must be in 8th grade at the time of application (transfers may be considered in some circumstances).     The Reverend Stanley Milewski Scholarship

    This scholarship program honors the mission of Reverend Stanley Milewski, which was to give deserving students an opportunity to be educated in the Catholic environment. This scholarship honors our relationships with elementary and middle schools in the metro Detroit area by rewarding high-quality students for their commitment to spiritual and academic achievement. This scholarship is renewable each year, provided the student is in good academic standing and is exhibiting the Christian behaviors expected of St. Mary’s Prep students.     Financial Aid- Returning Families

    Returning families may now apply re-apply for financial aid by completing the Financial Aid Renewal form for the 2024-2025 school year.

    Once completed, this form must be scanned as a pdf and emailed to Candace Castiglione, Dean of Admissions, at ccastiglione@stmarysprep.com

    The deadline to re-apply for financial aid is March 1, 2024. This is a FIRM DEADLINE. Failure to submit the renewal form before this deadline will result in loss of financial aid for next school year.

     

    Financial aid letters will be mailed out the week of March 4th.
